Bumps come in many ways: speed bumps, footpaths, doorsteps, garage door thresholds and so on.
Sometimes, cars must be loaded in containers, placed on a stand or displayed on a stage or platform. All these obstacles might become real challenges. The usage of metal or wood is dangerous, slippery, heavy and might damage the underground. And it’s a real threat to your valuable car and your health.
Race Ramps are extremely light, don’t slide and won’t damage floors including wood, carpet, concrete or tiles.
Out-of-the-box, our ramps can handle a bump up to 11 cm:
- 6 cm high and an angle of 4,3° Scale Ramp Large RR-SCALE-252
- 6 cm high and an angle of 7,8° Scale Ramp Medium RR-SCALE-2
- 8 cm high and an angle of 7,8° Jack Assist Small RR-TJ
- 11 cm high and an angle of 7,8° Scale Ramp Large RR-SCALE-TP
For heights between 10 and 28 cm, the additional use of a set of our specially designed Bricks is required. They fit neatly in the ramps’ notch to create a flush surface.
10 cm high and an angle of 5,5° Trailer Ramp RR-TR-4 + Brick-50
- 13 cm high and an angle of 4,3° Trailer Ramp RR-TR-5 + Brick-50
- 15 cm high and an angle of 8,2° Trailer Ramp RR-TR-6 + Brick-50
- 18 cm high and an angle of 5,5° Trailer Ramp RR-TR-7 + Brick-60
- 20 cm high and an angle of 6,3° Trailer Ramp RR-TR-8XL + Brick-50
- 28cm high and an angle of 5,0° Trailer Ramp RR-TR-11-2 + Brick-75

Of course, you an always resort to a DIY solution and break your back at each show. Here is an example of a 20 kg wooden ramp used at the Techno Classica Essen show. Remember you need two of them to load a car on the platform.
